Frequently asked questions
How is the Nexxus System installed?
The Nexxus mounts vertically on your main incoming water line (point of entry), with 10 to 12" of clearance below the housings for filter service. It uses 1" NPT inlet and outlet connections, and an upstream shut-off plus a bypass valve are strongly recommended. Operate within 110 PSI and 40 to 125°F. Professional installation by a licensed plumber is recommended.
What is the Delta Plan?
The Delta Plan is our $55/mo membership: replacement filter packs auto-ship free the moment they are due, plus real-time monitoring, live water alerts and reports, included accessories. It has a 3-month minimum, then continues month to month and you can cancel anytime.
Is the Nexxus System NSF certified?
It is built with components certified to NSF/ANSI 42 (taste and odor) and NSF/ANSI 372 (low-lead materials). Full-system NSF/ANSI 53 contaminant-reduction certification testing is in progress, and we will publish results here when complete.
What does it filter?
The Nexxus uses three sequential stages: Stage 1 Sediment Guard, Stage 2 your targeted filter (Lead Barrier Pro, VOC Guard Max, or Heavy Metals Defense), and Stage 3 PFOS Ultra. Together they are engineered to reduce the contaminants that matter most in your area, such as chlorine, sediment, VOCs, heavy metals, and PFAS/PFOS. Verified reduction figures will be published with our NSF/ANSI 53 results.
How do I replace my filters?
The three stages must stay in order: Stage 1 Sediment Guard (turquoise), Stage 2 your targeted filter, and Stage 3 PFOS Ultra (orange). Replace the Oasis Core batteries at each filter change. Delta Plan members receive replacement batteries at no additional cost.
How do I know which filter pack I need?
Enter your ZIP on our Contamination Map to see what public water data reports for your area. On the Delta Plan, we match and ship the right pack for you, so there is no guessing.
How often do filters need to be replaced?
Filter life is not a fixed date. It depends on your household water use and how much your incoming water loads each stage. Rather than guess, the Oasis Core tracks capacity and flags each stage in the app as it nears the end of its life, and the Delta Plan can ship replacements ahead of that moment.
How do I connect my Nexxus to Wi-Fi and set up the Oasis Core?
The Oasis Core pairs during first-time setup in the Oasis Water Technologies app: power the Core, sign in, and follow the on-screen steps to join it to your home Wi-Fi. Keep it on a 2.4 GHz network within range of your router. Filtration works from the moment the system is installed whether or not the Core is online; the Wi-Fi connection is what unlocks live readings, capacity tracking, and alerts.
Why isn't my Nexxus showing live data?
The Oasis Core runs on batteries and communicates over Wi-Fi. Filtration keeps working even if the batteries die, but monitoring and alerts stop until they are replaced. Check the batteries and your Wi-Fi signal, then refresh in the app. A dead battery or lost connection is not by itself a system defect.
What is your warranty and return policy?
Every Nexxus System comes with a 12-month warranty.
Do you ship across the USA?
Yes. The Nexxus System is designed and assembled in the USA and ships nationwide. Delta Plan members get free shipping on filter packs.
